Upon arrival, I was greeted by Sophie, whose warm demeanor immediately set the tone for what was to be a comforting retreat. The well-appointed room offered all essential amenities, providing a sense of serenity typical of such historic establishments. The views from my terrace were nothing short of breathtaking, especially during sunset, showcasing the delightful meandering hills of the Dordogne region. Dining leisurely on the outdoor terrace added an extra layer of enjoyment to meals, although I noted a lack of coffee-making facilities in the room, which would have been a nice touch. The hotel blends traditional charm with modern comforts, complemented by an attentive staff who enhanced the serene atmosphere.
